Case study: Product launch and drip campaign
When you’re writing emails for the masters in email marketing — Mailchimp — they have to be well-written and conversion-focused. When Mailchimp launched its Mailchimp Academy elearning platform, I created product launch and drip campaigns through my work as Senior Copywriter at Beyond. I strove to keep them lighthearted, even cheeky (in keeping with Mailchimp’s voice & tone) while still keeping them encouraging and professional.

From a content perspective, email communications are more important than ever before, allowing you a direct link to your audience and a better ability to target your messaging than social media. For nonprofit Chicago Ideas, I created newsletters centered around timely subjects and provided quality content in the form of videos, text, and links alongside calls to action for ticket sales and membership solicitations.
